Client Service is the access system for placing orders
and taking delivery. It provides start-to-finish management of your merchandise
flows and improves processing and tracking of your orders.

Your order is processed by one of our order representatives who is
at your service 6 days a week. Your representative will offer
a transport solution from origin to destination: He
or she will commit to a delivery date for your wagons If
any problem arises concerning deliveries, your representative will suggest
an alternate solution to get your goods to their destination.

Fret SNCF has implemented a specific information system, now at the core
of Client Service. Every stage of operations has been computerized, from
order-taking to information provision.

This system makes it possible to cross-reference the
information you provide to us through data exchange with our internal
data concerning the composition of trains.
This means that as soon the service contract is signed, the system
records the merchandise flow characteristics of your shipments so
that solutions can be rapidly found when you place your order. At
the same time it contributes to finding an alternative solution in
case of incident.

Monitoring dangerous goods
Fret SNCF has set up Présence Fret, an organization dedicated
to tracking the transport of dangerous goods. Présence
Fret provides 24/7 service to inform you in real time in case of incidents
involving shipment of your wagons.
Présence Fret works closely with SNCF agents in the field, appropriate
safety services, and if necessary with the public emergency services.

SNCF offers you general information concerning your shipment through its
EDI Fret subsidiary.
The EDI Fret server is linked to all of SNCFs data sources, and dispatches
an average of 12,000 messages per day to its clients in response to their
